Volunteer to support Your Co-op Home Delivery Service

Together we have now made over 120,000 home deliveries to the most vulnerable in our local communities.

We would not have been able to achieve this without the continued support of our members and colleagues, who recognise that In difficult times, some people need a little extra support. We don't just make sure people get the essentials they need, we're making a difference by sharing a smile and a quick chat. These are things that can mean so much to people who are feeling isolated and alone.

Whilst we still face the challenges of the pandemic, Your Co-op is committed to maintaining home delivery with colleagues and local volunteers for the longer term.

How can you help?

You can help to support the most vulnerable in your local community by gifting a few hours a week to help deliver food essentials.

Click here to find out how you can get involved and make a difference in your local community.

Making a Real Difference Starts with Volunteers.

Our colleagues are entitled to 22.5 hours a year of volunteering during normal working hours, lending their help for anything from painting a church to one-to-one youth mentoring. Together, they delivered over 27,000 hours of community support last year, equivalent to
a spend of over £360,000!

We also encourage our members to get involved in the same way we do, building a stronger community for those around us. If you’re looking to do your bit, you can visit your Regional Community page and get in to contact with our charity partner directly, or message us through the Community team.

If your project could use a helping hand, find out what we can do for you by dropping the Community team an email at CommunityTeam@midcounties.coop
