Piri Piri prawns with Aioli

Serves 4 - Ready in 40 minutes

Tasty Piri Piri Prawns - with garlic aioli. As served at the Fairer Living Festival!



  • 1 pk Co-op Irresistible raw prawns, defrosted in fridge overnight
  • 2 tbsp Co-op Irresistible rapeseed oil plus more for frying the prawns
  • 2 tsp Bart Piri Piri spice
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • ½ jar Co-op Mayonnaise
  • 4 crushed garlic cloves or 1 tsp Bart garlic paste


  1. Marinate the prawns for approximately 30 minutes in the rapeseed oil, lemon juice and Piri Piri spice
  2. Meanwhile make the aioli by mixing the mayonnaise with the garlic and mustard
  3. Pan fry the defrosted and marinated prawns in hot oil until they turn from grey to pink (about 5 mins)
  4. Serve with the aioli
