Classic BBQ Burger
Serves 8, ready in 20 minutes
Every barbecue needs a burger and our classic burger has all the element you need!
Ingredients
- 8 Co-op Irresistible Hereford beef rib and brisket burgers
- 80g Co-op Irresistible Somerset vintage Cheddar, cut into 8 slices
- 8 Co-op Co-op soft white rolls, halved
- Ketchup or mayonnaise, to serve
- 2 little gem lettuces, leaves torn
- 1 large red onion, thinly sliced
- 2 large tomatoes, thinly sliced
Method
- Cook the burgers on a barbecue (you may need to do this in batches) or grill according to the pack instructions
- Melt a slice of the Cheddar over each burger
- Lightly toast the buns
- To assemble the burgers, start with the base of the bun and add your ketchup or mayo
- Next, add a few lettuce leaves, followed by a burger
- Finish with the onion and tomato, and top with the lid
