Classic BBQ Burger

Serves 8, ready in 20 minutes

Every barbecue needs a burger and our classic burger has all the element you need!

Ingredients

  • 8 Co-op Irresistible Hereford beef rib and brisket burgers
  • 80g Co-op Irresistible Somerset vintage Cheddar, cut into 8 slices
  • 8 Co-op Co-op soft white rolls, halved
  • Ketchup or mayonnaise, to serve
  • 2 little gem lettuces, leaves torn
  • 1 large red onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 large tomatoes, thinly sliced

Method

  1. Cook the burgers on a barbecue (you may need to do this in batches) or grill according to the pack instructions
  2. Melt a slice of the Cheddar over each burger
  3. Lightly toast the buns
  4. To assemble the burgers, start with the base of the bun and add your ketchup or mayo
  5. Next, add a few lettuce leaves, followed by a burger
  6. Finish with the onion and tomato, and top with the lid
