Society Elections 2025 - Prize Draw

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

This document sets out the terms and conditions that apply to participation in the Elections 2025 prize draw. The Midcounties Co-operative Limited reserves the right to change these terms at any time.

Promoter

1. The prize draw promoter is The Midcounties Co-operative Limited, Warwick Technology Park, Gallows Hill, Warwick, CV34 6DA, UK (“Promoter”).

2. The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.

How to participate

3. To take part, you must vote in the 2025 Society Elections.

4. This prize draw is free to enter.

5. There will be five winners, each will receive a Fairtrade hamper.

6. The prize draw opens on Monday 1^st September 2025 at 9am and closes on Monday 29^th September 2025 at 5pm. Any entries after this time will be ineligible.

7. By voting in the Elections 2025, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions. The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend or amend the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.

The Prize

8. The five winners will be chosen at random by the Promoter from all completed and valid entries on or around 1^st October 2025.

9. Each winner will receive:

   1. 1 x Fairtrade Hamper

10. Prizes must be accepted as offered and are non-transferable.

11. No cash alternative is available.

Restrictions

12. The draw is open to all members of The Midcounties Co-operative eligible to vote in the 2025 Elections, excluding employees of the Promoter directly involved with organising the promotion.

13. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for data corruption, incomplete or illegible entries, or entries which fail to be properly submitted.

14. There is a limit of one entry per member.

Notifications

15. Each winner will be notified by phone or email on the day following the prize draw to obtain their postal address.

16. The prize must be claimed within 15 working days of receiving the notification. If the prize is not claimed, for whatever reason, the winner’s prize will be forfeited and a redraw will take place to select another winner. The Promoter's decision is final and the Promoter shall have no liability to the original winner.

17. Prizes will be delivered to each winner's home address.

Data Protection:

18. The Promoter will use your details for the purpose of administering the Elections 2025 prize draw only.

19. Winners may be asked to partake in publicity surrounding their win although this is not compulsory.

20. The prize draw will be governed by English Law and entrants submit to the jurisdiction of the English Courts.
