Dear Member,
I wanted to give you a further update on the progress we have been making in bringing our food stores back to normal following the disruption to supplies as a result of the cyber-attack on the Co-operative Group, which runs the national distribution network.
As I stated when I wrote to you on 15 May, I would reaffirm that none of the systems operated by your society, Midcounties Co-operative, were affected by this attack, and none of your data has been accessed.
I am pleased to say that the systems used by the Co-operative Group across the distribution network are all up and running. Our stores are on a good road to normalisation, and you should find all of your favourite products now back on sale. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to our hardworking colleagues who have worked tirelessly to restock our shelves and do their very best for you during these challenging circumstances. If you have not visited your local store recently, we would very much hope to see you again soon.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support.
