We’re pleased to share that Central Co-op and Midcounties Co-operative Members have now approved proposals to come together and create a new Society.
The new Society will have more than 13,000 colleagues, one million Members and will trade nationally through our Food, Utilities, Childcare, Funeralcare and Travel businesses.
The two Societies will come together through a formal transfer of engagements on 26 January 2026, and we will continue to keep Members, colleagues and customers updated as things progress.
