CHRISTMAS COVER STAR
Retro desserts are back in favour and here’s a modern take on the black forest gateau. The Irresistible White Forest Meringue Stack has forest fruits, layers of meringue and cream. It’s the perfect dessert for Christmas Day, which is why it’s our cover star, and at just £6, why not have one for Boxing Day too?
What could be more special at Christmas than a Santa sleepover in a castle with a wake-up call from an elf? Stories with Father Christmas himself, and an overnight stay in a Knight’s Village Lodge or luxurious Tower Suite are all included in the Warwick Castle festive break. Breakfast and a free second day’s castle ticket are part of the package, from £71 per person, 30 November – 23 December.
