Have you ever thought about volunteering but didn’t know where to start?

As requested by local members, Sheryl Murray from Cotswold Friends, a charity that supports older and vulnerable people in the Cotswolds,  will be joining us to share details of local volunteering opportunities with our local Cotswold fundraising partner.

She’ll be joined by one of Cotswold Friend’s current volunteers who will share their experiences of volunteering with the group and the difference volunteering makes.

Cotswold Friends is looking for 10 volunteers to provide community transport and 10 young volunteers (aged 16-25) to take part in their Young Friends Programme. The programme invites young people to befriend residents at a local care home or get involved in a variety of other challenges and events. Your Co-op can gift £1 vouchers for every hour of volunteering undertaken, and volunteers can also enter a prize draw.

Come along, meet elected members of Your Co-op and enjoy some tasty refreshments while finding out more about doing good together.
