Guideposts – Stroud Community Hub
The Hub is a friendly and vibrant place where adults with learning disabilities can come together to make friends, have fun, learn new skills, gain confidence and get involved in their local community.
Community Hub members can choose to attend creative art and craft days or activity days where they go out and about on visits to local places of interest. They support adults who have a mild to moderate learning disability, autism or Asperger’s. Staff are trained to work with a range of additional needs including sight, hearing and mobility limitations.

OPENhouse
OPENhouse is a charity that enables vulnerable individuals in the Stroud district and across Gloucestershire to discover their potential by building a community where they can live, relate, learn, get support and find their next steps in life.
The group welcomes and provides housing and support to adults who are at risk of homelessness who seek accommodation and support for independence locally. The charity can support most young adults with complex needs and have experience with attachment and personality disorders, those on the Autism Spectrum, mild learning disabilities and challenging and inappropriate behaviours.

Stroud Valleys Project
Originally founded to help protect the industrial heritage of Stroud and its five valleys, the group works with local community groups and volunteers, helping, inspiring and training them to discover and nurture the wildlife and green spaces on their doorsteps.
They offer a wide range of projects which aim to deliver three key goals: engage with communities on a range of environmental issues, provide learning resources and protect local biodiversity. Stroud Valleys Project has long been known for working with local communities at wildlife sites and on environmental projects.
