Cherwell Collective

Cherwell Collective support local groups near Oxford with infrastructure to empower and educate the community, reduce food waste and increase wellbeing.

The group does this by directly distributing food surplus via Cherwell Larder Marketplace, repurposing food surplus in their cafe – Climatarian Kitchen – and by growing food for the community at their own community allotment plots. They aim to keep food in circulation where possible and provide a space for people to "shop surplus first" on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at Exeter Hall in Kidlington.
