At The Myton Hospices we believe that everyone matters for every single moment of their life and that treating patients with dignity and respect is more important than meeting targets. We passionately believe that the final part of someone’s life is as important as the beginning. We also know that making someone feel better is not just about medicine – sometimes holding someone’s hand or taking the time to listen to their fears makes the greatest difference – if someone you love was dying isn’t that what you would want for them?
Our Charity Partner for 2017 is Warwickshire Young Carers, who help improve the lives of Young Carers across Warwickshire by offering free and confidential support.
They work with young carers from the age of 8 upwards, and aim to help make a difference to their lives by encouraging them to take time out to relax, take a break and to realise their own dreams.
