The Midcounties Co-operative pharmacies are based within the communities we serve, rather than in the high street or out-of town shopping centres. Being at the heart of your community means we can get to know you better and provide you with an easily accessible and more personal service. We have pharmacies across the West Midlands, Worcestershire, Oxford, Swindon, Oxfordshire and Gloucester areas, offering our customers and members a genuinely local service that goes beyond just dispensing prescriptions and other medicines. Our commitment to our local communities' means we can offer more care and help on local and national health issues. This includes visiting local schools with our Healthy Hound campaign to help inform children of all ages of the benefits of eating healthily and making the right food choices.

Free Health Support

To help encourage customers and members to maintain a healthy lifestyle, we offer free support and advice in a range of extended services. These include:

• Help in stopping smoking.
• Advice with managing your weight.
• Living with Asthma.
• Blood pressure testing.

A large selection of our pharmacies have private consultation rooms accredited to provide Medicines Use Reviews (MURS). In a friendly 10 minute consultation the pharmacist can:

• Give free advice on how to get the best from your medicines.
• Explain what each of your medicines are for.
• Discuss any problems or side effects that you may be experiencing.

We can also offer free Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT) products for support in stopping smoking at some of our pharmacies.
