Earning Points

Dividend has revolutionised membership of The Midcounties Co-operative. Becoming a member will entitle you to a series of exclusive benefits. Dividend is just one of them, giving you a share of the Society's profits in relation to how much you spend and how much you get involved with your Co-operative

As a member you will receive a Co-operative Membership card. This will enable you to earn points wherever and whenever you trade in The Midcounties Co-operative trading area.

To earn points you must present your card at the beginning of a transaction at a participating outlet. If you make purchases online or over the telephone you must quote your card number to earn points. You can also earn points for involvement as a member, eg. attending the AGM or other events, voting, taking part in a members' survey

The following standards apply for points earned per pound spent in participating branches owned by The Midcounties Co-operative.

There is a minimum spend of £1 per transaction before points can be earned.

Please note this is an example valid at time of press and is subject to change. There are a number of exceptions to the above and these can be found in the terms and conditions for the scheme.

These points are converted to vouchers twice a year, usually in June and November. The vouchers can be spent in any of the Society's trading groups, or paid into your member's share account. There is also an option to donate your dividend to charity. You will receive full information on all of this when you join.
