Annual Members Conference 2006

The Annual Members Conference

Lastyears Member Conference took place on Saturday the 21st October at Cheltenham Race Course. The conference entitled A Co-operative Approach to Rural Revival investigated the rural issues within local communities including local sourcing, community stores and farmers' markets

With speakers from Plunkett, ViRSA and Thames Valley Farmers Market this was a wonderful opportunity to learn about and discuss local innovative co-operative solutions to overcome the problems of rural isolation. This was also an opportunity to meet local suppliers and learn more about them. The Woodcraft Folk were also present on the day and provided tremendous support with the smooth running of the conference as well as educating members about their organisation and activities.

For more information please phone the Members' Hotline on 0800 435902 or email member.communications@midcounties.coop
