Housing Co-operative
A Co-operative that owns or manages the housing lived in and rented to its members.  See www.cch.coop

ICA
The International Co-operative Alliance.  The international representative body of more than 800 million co-operators across the globe.  The first Non-Governmental Organisation to be given Class 1 consultative status with the United Nations. See www.ica.coop.

ICMIF
International Co-operative and Mutual Insurance Federation - see www.icmif.org.

ICOF
Industrial Common Ownership Finance - the manager of various revolving loan funds to support new and expanding Co-operatives and other community organisations. Re-named Co-operative and Community Finance in 2006. See www.icof.co.uk

ICOM
Industrial Common Ownership Movement. The national federation of Workers' Co-operatives. Merged with the Co-operative Union in 2001 to form Co-operatives UK.

INCS
Ipswich and Norwich Co-operative Society. Formed in 1993 by the merger of the Norwich Co-operative Society and the Ipswich Co-operative Society. Now part of 'East of England'.

Industrial and Provident Society
The legal structure under which Co-operatives, Friendly Societies and Societies for the Benefit of the Community are registered (see Ben COM).
