Education Development Fund
Pays for particular national educational projects of the Co-operative College. Replaced NCEA in 2002. Societies who choose to subscribe get in return 1 vote each (regardless of their size) in the election of 2 Governors to the Governing body of the College.
Education Executive
The Executive Committee of the old NCEA and a sub-committee Co-operative Union. Wound up in 2002.
Education Forum
Annual event organised by the Co-operative College alongside Co-operative Congress to bring together co-operators and educationalists. Includes the annual meeting of the Co-operative College.
EEDA
East of England Development Agency. A Government Agency responsible for promoting the economic development of the 6 counties of Eastern England (Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Essex).
EEMCC
East of England Mutual and Co-operative Council.
EMCMEG
East Midlands Co-operative Member Education Group - a network of educationalists from Co-operatives in the East Midlands.
Employee Co-operative Council
Committee of Co-operatives UK representing employee owned Co-operatives and appointing 2 Directors to the Board of Co-operatives UK. (Current equivalent of ICOM and CPF).
Equal Exchange
Edinburgh based Worker Co-operative which imports and packs fairly traded beverages and associated products.
ERCC
Eastern Region Co-operative Council. Represents the Co-operative Sector in Eastern England especially with reference to EEDA. Changed its name during 2003 to the East of England Mutual and Co-operative Council.
Essential Trading
Is a Worker Co-op whole food wholesaler in Bristol which supplies the South West and parts of the Midlands and Wales. See www.essentialtrading.co.uk
The 'Federal'/'Federal Warehouse'
The East Anglia Federal Co-operative Society operated a Regional Distribution Centre in Ipswich to supply ambient groceries to its 3 retail Society members (Ipswich and Norwich, Colchester and Chelmsford Star). Sold to East of England Co-op in 2006.
First Question Ltd
A Worker Co-operative of trainers and facilitators based in Ipswich, but now also establishing a branch in the North of England, specialising in work with schools, teachers, youth workers and young people on the application of Co-operative methods of working and learning particularly to enterprise learning, citizenship and management. Also developing programmes for use with adults and those involved in voluntary and community work.

Replaced ACE in 2004, now merged into Co-operatives East.
